Inflation Media (IM)

The IM is a biocompatible, proprietary two-part system containing a water-soluble epoxy and a radiopacifier. Once acceptable positioning and valve function of the implant have been demonstrated with a pressurized saline and contrast mixture the IM is delivered into the implant. After complete exchange the prosthesis is detached from the delivery catheter. The IM begins cures to a solid to form the support structure of the implant.
